Lydbury North Parish Council meets monthly with the exception of August and December unless otherwise agreed. From time to time the Council may hold extraordinary meetings to address particular issues. Councillors and the public must be notified of the date of a meeting at least three working days in advance. Notification of meetings will be through the agenda which will be posted on the notice board by the bus stop in Lydbury North and on the notice board in the entrance lobby of Lydbury North Village Hall as well as on this website.
The Parish Council is keen for members of the public to attend the Council meetings and allocates the first 15 minutes for residents of the parish to speak to the Council. Anyone addressing the Council may be asked questions to clarify any issues raised, Once the meeting starts the public are not allowed to speak unless invited to do so.
The meeting in May of each year also includes the annual meeting to which the Parish Council invites guest speakers to talk on topics that affect local residents as well as local organisations to provide an update on their activities over the last year.
